Smart hardware
The software around a device: connection, data, and the screen people use.
This work joins a device and the software around it. We need the hardware specification, any API or protocol you can share, and a description of what the user should see or do. A prototype stays inside the devices and test conditions named in the scope.
Enquire about this ↗- How the device connects
- Which data moves between the device and the software
- The interface people use around the product
- A prototype limited to the devices and test conditions in the scope
What to send
Hardware specification, available APIs or protocols, connectivity, and what the user needs to do.
What we agree first
Prototype scope, who provides the devices, how testing is done, and who is responsible for hardware versus software.
What development covers
The agreed interface and data flow. Hardware manufacture, certification and supply are separate from this software work unless the scope includes them.
Describe the work first
Include the workflow, the users and the timing. Scope, schedule and handover are written down before development starts.
